So, for a brief moment, I would like to take a pause from Sassy Sherea and provide a few shout outs of appreciation. First of all, Brandon, thank you for hosting such an amazing game. It has been full of twists and turns that have kept us all on our toes, and I have thoroughly enjoyed competing in this season.
Secondly, to my co-finalists, I can honestly say that if you had asked me any sort of combination of a Final 3 a few rounds ago, it would not have been the three of us. But, alas, here we sit, having outwitted, outlasted, and outplayed the other 17 contestants in this game. I just wanted to take a brief moment to congratulate the two of you. I look forward to fighting til the bitter end against the two of you, and wish you the best of luck throughout this final judgement experience.
Now, to the jury. I know that some of you are bitter, and I know that some of you are probably unhappy with the way things played out. I fully expect for Mikayla, LJ, and myself to get picked apart by each of you, but I did want to thank you all for providing such a challenging game to compete in. There were several times when I thought that I had no shot at making it any further. You all were very tough competitors, and half of you I would be terrified to sit next to at this final judgement. Thank you for making this game so much fun and so enjoyable. I hope that, bitter feelings aside, you will be able to go into this vote unbiased and truly vote for who you believe played the best game, be it Mikayla, LJ, or myself.
To get to this spot, I had to create, maintain, and break several relationships with many of you on the jury. It was pertinent for me to ensure that I was maintaining a positive relationship with some of the key and powerful players in this game without attaching myself to them too tightly. I admit, I had a huge mouth. I would run and tell every side what I was hearing and that I would do my best to figure something out that would benefit them. In the end, however, I always chose the move that benefitted Sherea. Establishing this trust and these connections across all parties is what I feel truly landed me a spot in the finals. I feel that I was able to grow close to several members of this cast and earn their trust, and use the information they would share with me to my advantage, whether it be to share that with another party or to keep it to myself. For instance, I could have easily told Phillip about Morgan's idol the round that he went home. However, it was in my best interest to keep that information to myself in order to ensure that I could get further in this game with less blood on my hands. I carefully analyzed each situation to ensure that I was sharing what needed to be shared and withholding what needed to be withheld.
For those of you interested, I will gladly go more in depth into my strategies if you so desire to ask questions in relevance to such topics. Otherwise, I am excited to see what questions and comments you will bring to the table. I wish you each the best of luck in your decisions. Thanks, again, for a great game!
