Judgment #12 - Merged TribeWelcome to your last Judgement before the finale!
Welcome the members of our jury...
~Questions~
Mikayla - How does it feel having an automatic place in the Final Judgement and a chance to address the jury? What are you basing your vote on tonight? LJ - Why should you stay over Morgan and Sherea? Morgan - Why should you stay over LJ and Sherea? Sherea - Why should you stay over LJ and Morgan?
Make sure to vote in the Voting History thread in your confessional using your parchment! You have ~24 hours to vote. Self-voting will not be tolerated so create a boot list. If all of the votes are in before time is up, I can post results early.Due: Saturday May 17, 2014 @ 10:00pm EST

Who the heck is this "Mikaela" person?
Anyway, it's wonderful to have earned my spot in the Final Judgement. I've certainly made it my prerogative to lay low in the challenges this season, so it was nice to be able to step it up to my regular level vis a vis this challenge and give a solid demonstration of my capabilities.
I'm also glad that I'll have the chance to defend myself in the finals. I think that the members of the jury have likely made a lot of assumptions about me and my game, and I certainly appreciate the opportunity to explain things from my own perspective. I can certainly see how the things I've done and the moves that I've made could have been misunderstood as floating or coattail riding, and for all I know, it'll be a bit too little too late, but my hope is that the jurors will be open-minded enough to hear what I have to say, consider my game on its own merits, and let me show them what I've actually been up to this whole time.
Tonight, I'm basing my vote on who I think stands the best chance of defeating me in the finals.

Morgan - Why should you stay over LJ and Sherea?I am just going to focus on LJ, in all honesty, because I do not think Sherea should go home. I think I should be kept over LJ because in the jury's eyes he has clearly played the best game. He has made a lot of moves, he was in power for some time, and he was a key player in a lot of things that happened. Not only that but he was a challenge dominator and he had a strong social game. I know if I was at the end I would vote for him without hesitation, and I hope that the girls see that too. This is our one shot at getting rid of him, and having a more even Final Three.

Hello Mikayla...
First of all, I wouldn't undermine everyone else's games. Games come in all shapes and forms and strategies can also come in all shapes and forms. People with 1,000 different games have won it. Coattail riders, dominators, villains, heroes, etc. There's not one that count less than the other and it depends of the circumstances of the game and the jury. It is precisely important to think what the jury wants at the end, what they expected of the game and what they got out of it. The precise combination of jury's ideals and understandings is what decides who wins, not our different gameplay strategies (all similarly valid).
Being good at challenges or making moves does not make this the paramount strategy. It is actually the most overused and the one people continually target as boring or lacking innovation. If you look at it closely there were some challenges I won that didn't have to be won at all, because I was safe. It was selfish and made me look controlling and paranoid. The ones that I won that needed to be won demonstrated that my social game was actually lacking because hadn't I won it, I would have been going home. I was not the very best player. For you to be a good player you have to control a lot of aspects and balance them at the time. And I didn't. I still did decent because it got me here. But was it the best for the jurors we're talking about? And let's be honest, I made 1000 alliances and everybody on that sit hates me for lying to them, backstabbing them and then making myself the victim; when I was actually the one that turned my back of them.
The fact that Morgan and You played a similar game is true. They were both very intelligent, made precise friendships that got them to move along in the game and played strong immunity challenges when they needed to. However...
The only way that Mikayla has a chance at winning is to differentiate herself from a game that was similar to hers, but was probably better. Morgan made a friendship with every single one of the jurors in Ponderosa. She never made any compromising move, never made any alliance and made sure that she showed them that she always told the truth (the convenient truth at least). Every single juror sitting at the other end of this tribal went home thinking Morgan was with them, therefore... Immediately after they left the game, they turned to root for her to win.
You Mikayla, on the other hand, also made big moves in this games but went against some of this people and had to continuously reload your strategies to made them fit the changing environment of the game. That makes jurors like Morgan better because she swayed her game her way every single time without making them even remotely hate her.
It is as easy as going through every juror and thinking who they will vote. I'm sure if you do that task you'll learn who is the one that will defeat you most probably at the end.

I have the feeling you are trying to put a target on me. But I really don't understand this essay so I have no idea if I should be worried. I DID understand the last part though, and I do want to point out if I go home this round I am 100% voting for you, which is one less vote either of the girls can earn. Continuing with that theory: Chicken/Bob - I could have saved them, I didn't. Vote for me? Probably not. Penner - I tried to vote him out three rounds in a row and was a bitch to him. Vote for me? No. Allie - Major betrayal, vote for me? No. Malcolm - Begged me for my idol so he could stay and someone else would go home. I told him he was not important enough for my game and I would keep my idol. Vote for me? 100% no. Jeremiah - Maybe. But I also fucked him over, and lied to him with the whole situation with Allie after he asked me to be on his team. Philip - He is voting for Mikayla. They worked too close together to even matter otherwise. Mikayla and Sherea are smart girls, and quite frankly letting YOU move into the finals would be suicidal.

I can say the exact same thing about you. You're tweaking everything to your advantage, that's what you do: tweak your words and sugar coat them so that everyone believes what you said. Chicken and Bob thought they were in an alliance with you YOU DIDN'T VOTED FOR THEM, you just kept quiet and talked to them as if you were with them. They love you and as soon as they left they considered YOU were the one that was left from them. They are clearly rooting for you. Penner: While you voted Penner, he also thought he had your vote. He thought he was with you. At the end, I betrayed him by not giving him the idol he gave me. I told mean stuff to him and as you saw on the auction post he said "LJ You're next". He never talked about you. Even if you were "mean" to him and "voted" for him, you slipped under the radar once again. Allie: You did betrayed her. Only move you did in front of someone in this game. But I took her idol away and then made her vote with me when she wasn't in my alliance about 6 times. You can balance that one out Mika. Malcolm: If you didn't give him an idol that was for your protection, he hates you? you're just pushing it TOO far. Malcolm and I were allies since day 1 and I voted him out because he called me shady. I went off at him, cried at him, screamed at him. He things i'm a psychotic bitch. Doesn't balance out in your favor. Jeremiah: Jeremiah is in love with Morgan. So much, I couldn't control his votes at the end. Jeremiah would throw himself under the bus for you. YOU voted with him the round he left for Mykaela. Clear AS WATER. Phillip: I WASN'T TALKING ABOUT PHILLIP. I NEVER MENTIONED IT. HE'S CLEARLY VOTING FOR MYKAELA WHICHEVER THE BALANCE GOES. Mikayla! The lies that morgan just tried to sugar coat clearly demonstrates she knows exactly how to tweak the game IN HER FAVOR. She goes quiet, talks when she needs to, "never lies". She has them all wrapped under her finger. Almost everything she told about the jurors is not true. I will swear on god and everything that matters to me when I tell you if Morgan gets to the end, she wins with a 7-1 vote.
You do the count yourself. Just go over every jury. It is clear. It is obvious and It will happen. You and me? It could go both ways.
And let's be honest. She had the best game in my eyes. She would also get my vote.

You can look at it yourself. Here's ONE OF THE MANY proofs that she's lying and she knows exactly what she's doing. She was so confident about her game, all of her votes were constructed so that people knew IT WAS HER that voted. That surely demonstrated how "truthful", "loyal" and "independent" she was from everyone else in the game. Everyone left knowing who she voted for and that made them trust her even more. They always knew where she stand and she never lied to them whatsoever. Attachments:

I dunno, I seem to recall someone telling me I was mentally handicapped* because of my frequent misspellings and grammatical errors. *The phrase "mentally handicapped" doesn't require a hyphen here because it's not being used as an adjective.
